Our state-of-the-art Schick system enables us to provide greatly improved diagnostic capabilities to our patients while significantly lessening their exposure to radiation by up to 80 percent over the standard film x-rays.
The image from the digital sensor is instantly displayed on a computer screen where it can be viewed up to 25 times larger than actual size for clarity. Dr. Agee can enhance and magnify the image to show conditions such as cavities or structural weaknesses in teeth. It’s a wonderful tool for helping our patients see their dental conditions and fully understand their treatment options.

Intraoral Camera Technology
Dr. Agee utilizes intraoral camera technology to enhances your understanding of your dental needs. An intraoral camera is a very small camera – in some cases, just a few millimeters long – that enables Dr. Agee to view exact images of your mouth, teeth and gums.
With these accurate, enlarged images, Dr. Agee can see details that may be missed by standard mirror examinations. The images captured by intraoral cameras are saved and can be sent to you, other specialists, dental labs, or insurance companies. other specialists, and your lab or insurance companies.
Piezo Ultrasonic Scaler
Our hygienists use a Piezo Ultrasonic Scaler to efficiently and comfortably remove tartar that has built up on your teeth. A build-up of tartar can lead to tooth decay and gum disease. A Piezo Ultrasonic Scaler works by using ultrasonic vibrations along with a water stream that washes debris away from the tooth. Part of a regular teeth cleaning, the peizo scaler is an effective way to remove harmful tartar from your smile.
