Travis Agee, DMD
Dr. Travis Agee was born in Idaho, grew up mostly in Portland, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oregon State University in 2005. He then attended the School of Dentistry at Oregon Health & Science University, where he graduated in 2009 with honors and was selected to be a member of the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Since graduating, Dr. Agee has been part of advanced education study clubs in implant dentistry, Tucker Gold restorations, and complex case treatment planning and case presentation. He has also taken many continuing education courses in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and implant dentistry. He believes in evidence-based dentistry, meaning the techniques and materials Dr. Agee uses are backed by peer-reviewed research, clinical trials, and longstanding history of great clinical success.
As one of the best dentists Portland Oregon has, Dr. Agee, is an advocate of preventive dentistry and using fluoride, sealants, and patient education in order to prevent decay. He is also heavily involved in community service. Dr. Agee volunteers for Mission of Mercy every year, as well as hosts an annual Free Sealant Day at Portland Family Dentistry, where he sees children for exams, sealants, and fluoride treatment at no charge. Dr. Agee also volunteers many hours each year to educate children in the community. During the 2014-2015 school year, he provided a fun dental education lesson to nearly 1,200 kindergarten and first-grade students.
In February 2015, Dr. Agee and his beautiful wife, Jordan, welcomed their first baby boy, Drew, into the world. Outside of family time, Dr. Agee enjoys playing golf, camping, cooking, gardening, and working on projects around the house. His little dog, named Ralphie, is a regular behind the desk at the office, welcoming patients and the UPS driver! Every summer Dr. Agee spends a week with his family on pack trips in the wilderness of Idaho.
